Dinner With Sneddons

Baby Gatseos! G and I had dinner at your someday friend Bliss' house last Wednesday! Max and Misty Sneddon are her parents, and me and Misty were good friends in high school and recently reconnected (ran into each other at Wal-Mart!), and have since hung out a few times. G and Max get along well too, and it's been so much fun reconnecting! They had their first baby, Bliss, in April. We first hung out with them last February, then again in March about a week (?) before Misty was due. They were SO EXCITED for their new bundle of joy, and loved sharing all the information and experiences they were having, with us. We just ATE IT UP, as that was exactly what we needed - new parents who had just experienced what we were about to experience! It was so informative, and I couldn't ask ENOUGH questions! But they excitedly loved talking about it and answering all our questions - it was a couples match made in heaven! The Lord has been so good to put people in our lives, and experiences in our lives that are preparing us for this journey. So, after a long three months (G and I were just chomping at the bit to hear from them and see how their first few months of parenthood were going), they had us over to their beautiful home last week! AND we got to meet the sweet Bliss. Mommy said she cries a lot (almost cholic-y), but you wouldn't know it from the way she behaved that night! Misty made a wonderful meal (esp. dessert!), we talked and talked, Max played piano for us, and they gave us some books on pregnancy and some belly butter! It was a WONDERFUL night. I can't wait for you to meet them and Bliss! They are VERY excited for you too, and for us getting pregnant and going through the process they just went through. You and Bliss will be around a year apart, so they'll be just a step ahead of us, teaching us all the wonderful new milestones that are about to come. Praise God for this and our friendship with them!
